Up to £30k depending on experience
The Role:
To operate and program laser cutting machinery to produce high-quality components in line with production requirements
Ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Programme and operate laser cutting machines based on production needs
Load materials and manage machine operations efficiently
Create and programme nestings to optimise material usage
Monitor production to ensure components meet quality standards
Carry out quality checks and ensure attention to detail at all times
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines
Fast-paced manufacturing/workshop setting
Involves operating machinery and handling materials
Skills and Experience Required
Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery (essential)
Ability to read and understand technical/engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Experience with programming and nesting (preferred)
Good organisational and problem-solving skills
Reliable and hardworking
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
