Production Decal Fitter
Longton, Stoke on Trent
Up to £16.77 per hour depending on experience
The Role:
To accurately measure, prepare, and apply decals to trailers and vehicle bodies to meet production specifications
Quality standards, and customer requirements, while adhering to health and safety regulations
Apply full coverage decals to trailers, including all ancillary components
Measure and correctly lay out decals on various trailer/body types, including cabs, to specification
Carry out all aspects of the decal fitting process independently
Inspect and maintain equipment daily including ladders, scissor lifts, heat guns
Complete daily inspection and check sheets accurately
Ensure all work meets quality standards and is completed within required timeframes
Identify and rectify any rework issues during production
Read and interpret job specifications and technical drawings
Maintain high standards of housekeeping in the work area
Communicate effectively with managers and production teams regarding deadlines and workload
Work flexibly across different areas of the business as needed
Comply with all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements at all times
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
Understand and adhere to recycling and waste management processes (including handling of thinners and decal backing paper)
Ensure safe use and operation of all equipment
Skills & Attributes required:
Experience in decal fitting or similar production/assembly role
Ability to work accurately to specifications
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently and manage workload
Good communication skills
Understanding of health & safety requirements in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with large vehicles or trailers
Previous experience training or mentoring staff
Team player with a proactive attitude
Reliable and self-motivated
Strong problem-solving skills

Flexibility to support other departments as required
Willingness to undertake training and development

Monday – Thursday
07.30am – 5.00pm
Friday
7.30am-12.30pm
