The Role:
A fulfilling and exciting opportunity available for a residential support worker
This role is a key member of the team, providing assistance and guidance to young people within a accommodation setting
The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering nurturing person centred support that is bespoke to suit the needs of each individual accessing the service
The support should assist residents in developing the skills required to settle in to a new area, overcome barriers and learn skills towards independence
Support and assist young people to build resilience and overcome barriers
Skills and Attributes required:
Must be empathetic, with a passion to offering support and guidance
Knowledgeable and professional in understanding the specific needs of adolescents transitioning into adulthood
Ensure your relationships with colleagues and external agencies are effective and professional and contribute to the Association’s values, culture and ethos
Direct experience working within a young person’s service is preferrable but not essential
To build trust with the young individuals
The Hours:
Full Time
Monday to Friday
3 Days 08.30am – 4.30pm
2 Days 1pm - 9pm
